The new comedy gets the axe.
October 31, 2014
It is being reported that NBC has cancelled new comedy Bad Judge. The series premiered earlier this month but failed to draw significant ratings during its first five episodes in the Thursday 9:00pm time slot.
The network still plans to air all 13 episodes that have already been produced as part of its initial order.

well there u have it yet another show pulled without giving it time or build to grow, these tv channels suck big time they no longer understand peoples needs but instead continue to try to brain wash us with fake reality shows and make us stupid, time to turn off tv again..

I love this show. I laugh thru the whole show. I get so tired of hood shows being cancelled and the keep the stupid reality shows on.

@Karen that is what I was just telling my husband. Why bother getting invested in the new shows, they just cancel them anyways. The only thing that stays is garbage tv like the reality TV or dramas. I want some light hearted comedies.

I'm surprised it lasted this long. It was so bad that I gave up on it half way through the pilot. They should have known better as it was obviously a take-off on "Bad Teacher" which also didn't make it through it's first season.

The Neilson ratings system is not the only way they monitor what you watch anymore. They know what you watch, what you record and what you watch on demand. Your digital boxes communicate with the provider, which then is passed on to all the networks.

I, too, love this show; it's one of my favorites and one of few comedies I watch. I laugh so hard every episode.
