The reality series is pulled from the schedule.
November 2, 2014
FOX has cancelled its year-long reality experiment Utopia after less than two months on the air. The new series, which followed a group of strangers forming their own society in an isolated location, never managed to find a significant audience in the weeks since its September premiere.
The show first began with two airings each week, on Tuesdays and Fridays. After a slow start, the network pulled the Tuesday episodes in early October. Its Friday numbers continued to fall, prompting today's cancellation which is effective immediately. Utopia's live stream ends tonight.

I, for one, hope they keep the people there for the year.. not telling that that it stopped airing after two months. Fantastic practical joke! And there may be a series in the fallout :) They could call it "Joe Reality"

Do they finish out their year there? Or do they tell them all to go home......Since FOX didn't want it on Air WHY not keep it a WEB series?????

The UK series titled "Utopia" is a fabulous mystery/action series. Really great to watch. The Australian series titled "Utopia" is a fantastic comedy which rivals "The Office" -- always funny. The US series titled "Utopia" was total shit.

This show was cancelled before it started. As soon as I saw it was on FOX I moved right on past it. It wasn't sci-fi, but I figured fox would still cancel it in a hurry!

Face it, once Red and especially Dave left -- there was nothing to watch. And that "hipster" host was just stupid.

And with that I officially have zero shows I need to DVR on FOX, thanks for the extra free time you toolbags. I had such high hopes for this show but it was handled wrong in every aspect. Imagine the psychological aspects of the Utopians coming out of the compound. They must think they are the most boring people in America, when in reality FOX didn't give a crap about any of them and threw them away like Thursdays garbage. Sad really. I don't know if I will ever watch another FOX show, they have pissed me off too many times. Not going to invest my hours into a network that pulls the plug on basically everything.
