The crime drama will not return for Season 4.

It is being reported that TNT has cancelled Perception after three seasons. The Eric McCormack procedural is the second show the network has axed this week - Franklin & Bash was cancelled on Tuesday.
Though ratings were slightly down in Season 3 compared to Season 2, reasons for Perception's cancellation are unclear. The move could be in part related to TNT's recently-stated desire to transition to edgier programming under new president Kevin Reilly.
Look for the remaining episodes in Perception's third season to air in February 2015.

The new president is a moron. They keep canceling good shows. I wonder what junk will be on to replace it. WHY TO GO TNT. you guys are losing viewers more and more each day.

What stupid people are running TNT???? This is one of a few shows I watch on their station. It was a great show, TNT needs to reconsider this decision.

Edgy? Good shows can be anything that has good stories and characters. I agree; cancel the new executive that is looking for something 'edgy'

I think they should just cancel the network altogether...losing enough viewers to do just the thing

Dammit! This is a good show, man!
What the hell does "edgier" mean, anyway? Is a schizo neuro-scientist solving cases for the FBI by interactive hallucinations not edgy enough?! Unfortunately, in today's world, edgy means flashy....bad decision cancelling this series.
I just hope it does not end in a cliffhanger.
