The comedy will end after Season 6.
November 17, 2014
TV Land has cancelled veteran comedy Hot in Cleveland, confirming today that the show will end after its current sixth season. The cable network released the following statement regarding the news:
It’s been an honor to work with Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and the incomparable Betty White as well as our executive producers Suzanne Martin, Todd Milliner, Sean Hayes and the rest of our exceptional writers, production team and crew. The passion and talent they brought to the set each and every week over the past five years has put TV Land on the map as a network dedicated to quality original programming. We will continue to celebrate the show and are looking forward to a fantastic series finale.
No finale date has been set at this time, as the show is just two episodes into its sixth season out a total of 24 on order.

Loved this show, but it has had a good run and all good things come to an end. But, Gary, why are you so upset that there's a show you don't like somewhere on the tv? Were you channel surfing and kept accidentally running across it, subjecting yourself to a few seconds of it? Are you afraid they will replace it with another show that you can't stand existing on tv? Oh, I think I know. Your mom loved it and you were forced to watch it with her. Anyways, it was a great cast being witty and funny. I will miss the girls.

Networks nowadays don't care about US, the viewers, instead rely on these so called ratings game that they themselves created. All great shows are gone and being replaced by reality TV weird characters. How many Amish shows we need to watch in order to know that they are Amish? Seriously? Shows like Pushing Daisies, Samantha Who?, and Hot in Cleveland have some good one liners. Shame on these network execs.

Again......thankyou..thankyou thankyou...this is 3rd straight ****com tvland has aired that went down in flames...for the life of me I can't figure out why…..it can't be the actors because they were all in many many many shows that were cancelled..wait could it be they are horrible actors..the other 6 shows they were in that were cancelled for whatever reason..sure can't be the cast...I am glad tvland failed again..hopefully somebody from that network will see this so they no advertising one of their shows every single commercial causes people not to watch..nothing like watching koqueens rerun and seeing a hot in cland or the exes plug every 8 mins during a commercial break

These comments are funnier than the show... Tim thinks "Friends" and "How I Met Your Mother" are REALITY shows.. hahahahahahahaha.

This was the only TVLand show I watched and now that its cancelled, I'm done with TVLand! Betty White is a legend and your network must not have noticed how lucky they were to have her. Enjoy having no loyal network followers now that you've kicked off the talent!

They should keep this on the air. Who cares if the jokes are getting repetitive. Sure it has had a good run and did what it needed to. Who cares if I watch it it needs to stay on. They are going to replace it with another reality show like Friends or How I met your Mother.

About time. The show is about who these old bats are going to sleep with. Not interesting. Valerie Bertinelli is way too old to keep using that "cutesy" shtick. And Betty White talking about sex is not funny. Where I come from its called senility!

There were some good jokes in there. I got to see Mary Tyler Moore in one of the two episodes she was in. It was nice to see her and Betty White back together. But, I really didn't expect the show to go the distance.

I have loved the show. I hate to see it end. It always made me laugh. I think we need more shows like this.
