The new drama is pulled from the schedule.
March 6, 2015
NBC has cancelled Allegiance, pulling the freshman drama from its schedule after five episodes. The series had gotten off to a slow start since its premiere last month, failing to draw significant viewership in the 10:00pm Thursday time slot.
Beginning next week, the network will move new episodes of The Slap to Thursdays at 10:00pm. In the 8:00pm hour, where The Slap previously aired, episodes of Dateline: The Real Blacklist will air ahead of new episodes of The Blacklist.

I thought the show was pretty good and different than some of the others... To bad they cancelled it.. Yet shows like "Secrets and Lies" are left one, this show is a duplicate of "Broadchurch" and the cancelled "Gracepoint" Allegiance was a bit different which I liked.and it didn't interfere with "How to get away with Murder" like someone said, since that show already had it's season finale... Wish Stations would stop cancelling shows after just a few episodes and give them a chance.

After seeing the classic 'the Americans' which is so well done that it plays like history , it was hard to get into this one. Russian spys are here for sure though

That explains why my relative that watches it couldn't get episodes to record this show has been cancelled for about two weeks.

This show is good. It does not matter if it is close to the Americans I did not watch that show. All shows have things in common lets see NCIS, LAW and Order, CSI I like all of them and they have things in common. That is not why this was cancelled. It was not also cancelled by tv who dvr the shows like the person above said. Shows that are dvr'd do count towards ratings. I just think that whoever put this on Thursday did it on purpose because they did not like the show. Because you would not put it up against How to get away with murder. The nimbrod that did this should be fired right away! This show needs to be moved to another day and time and then give it a real shot. Growing up shows were not cancelled like this after only a few episodes. But now there are really only I believe 5 US corporations that own all the channels. So some high up who knows nothing cancels a good show. I really think the Nielson ratings need to go bye bye. I do not think they accurately report the real ratings. I am sure there is better technology that can real numbers to tv shows. Even if it wasn't top rated because of the multiple shows it was up against I am sure it was better then what they say. And besides they count dvr'd shows so even if they watched it later that should not matter. Some people do not like to watch commercials or some watch 1 and tape the other. This show needs to be on longer. Stop taking good shows off.

I thought G.Stenhouse did a good job portraying Alex as a brilliant but not omniscient sibling and M.Levieva as a sultry and confident spy. Became a fan of Margarita in "Revenge." Agree with most of the prior comments.

One of the best new shows out there. Just cancelled all future recordings of The Slap hoping others will do the same. Shame on NBC.

Perhaps the networks should learn trying to copy a successful show on some other network isn't going to work. Neither is repeating the same tired formulaic cop/legal/detective/medical shows.

I truly have never heard of this show. Which is probably why it was cancelled. All the money and time they waste making these shows and then they get cancelled without giving the shows a shot or proper advertisement. But they keep a show like The Slap on, and every commercial break I see a commercial for it, even on other cable networks I seen them promoting it.
