The new drama is pulled from the schedule.
March 6, 2015
NBC has cancelled Allegiance, pulling the freshman drama from its schedule after five episodes. The series had gotten off to a slow start since its premiere last month, failing to draw significant viewership in the 10:00pm Thursday time slot.
Beginning next week, the network will move new episodes of The Slap to Thursdays at 10:00pm. In the 8:00pm hour, where The Slap previously aired, episodes of Dateline: The Real Blacklist will air ahead of new episodes of The Blacklist.

Again the mucky mucks running this network took time out to smoke crack and spin the bottle that told them to cancel the show. The competition it was put against was not a good choice. If put in a different time slot this show would have had good ratings. No one who is watching a hit series would change mid season to watch this new show. what were the mucky mucks thinking,//or not// The cast was good the writing was good everything was in place to have a hit. Another network should snatch it up it will be a moneymaker with the right placement and advertising. I am very disappointed in its cancelation

Allegiance was good!! NBC should give it more time since it was up against How to Get Away With Murder!! Or switch days to give it a fair shot.

NBC truly are morons they keep the garbage show called the slap totally lame what next make a show called punch in the face nbc just like other networks don't give shows a chance it's such a shame typical jerk offs

Perhaps if people watched instead of recording, the ratings would be higher and shows would not be cancelled so quickly.

I agree with Julie, have them on the DvR and just deleted them. I wonder how much it costs to make a show these days? It seems that more new shows get cancelled than stay on air. But show like The Slap stay on television, WTF!

I should have not gotten attached to it. Damn it. I really need to start waiting for season 2 on any new show to bother watching it.

It's a shame but not surprising. These type of shows don't seem to go well. I've been bitten by Hostages, Crisis, The Assets before and when this show started I got the same vibe.

This was a pretty good show, but it had ZERO chance going up against Thursday night shows from Shondaland. Sorry to see it go. I wish they had at least moved it to another night to give it a fair chance, but what do i know, right? I'm just a viewer lolol.
