Showtime announced today that Episodes has been renewed for a fifth season. Nine new half-hour episodes of the veteran comedy have been ordered, with production scheduled to commence in 2016.

Series 1 was actually the better of them all I think as it took risks with Mary's character. It's a bit samey now

It's a good show. I can see why marco55 stopped after a few episodes because I almost did too. It really wasn't good at first. I stuck it out, and it got better and better. They shouldn't have ended on a cliffhanger though if they weren't already signed on to keep going. That's annoying. Hate when shows do that and get canceled. See Backstrom, Rush, My Name Is Earl, and others.

LOVE this show!! Season 1 was a little rough, but it really picked up in Season 2 and beyond. Hilarious and crazy. Yay Showtime for renewing it!!

I tried to watch this in it's first season and after 3-4 episodes I quit watching as I find it completely boring.It's amazing how a lot of good shows get cancelled quickly but something like this lingers like a slow death.
