The Showtime comedy's upcoming season will be its last.
April 11, 2016
Showtime announced today that Episodes will be concluding its run after its upcoming fifth season. The Matt LeBlanc comedy will be signing off when many expected it to, as the series creators have previously stated that they have always had a 5-season plan for the show.
Production on the final seven episodes - down from the originally-announced nine - is set to begin next week. Look for the final season to premiere in 2017.

Great show sport to see it conclude. There are hardly any half hour satire comedy on tv anymore! This show will be missed

Love Matt LeBlanc in this, proves he can be a lead actor in a show. Hope another series picks him up!

Noooooooooo!!! I love this show... Bet if they offered Le Blanc a million an episode it would still be going. But those days are long gone now.

Hey come on, 5 seasons is not bad at all these days. Very respectable indeed. Kathleen Rose Perkins in my opinion made this show. It was fun, funny, entertaining, shocking at times, and every EPISODE made me laugh. Will miss the show for sure but wish them all the best.

Great series. Matt Leblanc's great and his willingness to let this show portray him as a horrible person in real life made it all the more better. Fun show from beginning to end. I don't have a bad thing to say about it. Some say it's slow but I don't see it the shows pace is perfect and each episode is only around 30 minutes. I look forward to future work from the cast members.

It was good but a very slow moving comedy. And they were making fun of the British version of the show that they were making. Irony at its best I suppose. Writing was on the wall. Two Brits and LeBlanc was not enough or even good to make a show. Artsy types, I am pretty sure, will miss this but not me, not here.

I saw the writing on the wall when Stephen Mangan was cast in the new Fox show Houdini and Doyle. It's sad that it won't broadcast until next year, but I'm happy to have 7 more episodes than none at all.
