NBC announced today that Aquarius has been renewed for a second season. The freshman 1960's-set drama is currently four episodes into its debut run on the network, but the entire season has already been made available online, making it the first broadcast series to be streamed in its entirety after its premiere.

its about certain "things"that certain"people"dont want certain "facts"to surface.this is the change that absolutely broke our so called great u.s.of a.,all to hell.it cant be fixed.its too late now.all the cards need to be layed on the table and exposed.yeah.sure.they will get right on that.just like every other issue that manages to get swept under the "red tape" carpet.just bring the show back.everyone has an opinion.very young girls that went that direction are still out there somewhere.manson killed a horrific number of people that will never be publicized.sad thing.lots of people knew it,high power people.so who really were casualties of that war?and thats the way the cookie crumbles...just like America keeps crumbling!!!!!!

Hannibal was a super-artistic TWIST on a story that the Original Movie ruined for it... HOWEVER, Aquarius is an amazing story-line, so superbly well-done, to show the useless Millennials, and Gen-X types clueless. But to someone who LIVED in that Era, this is an amazing telling (re-telling is too trite to use)of REAL historical facts, perceptions and attitudes of the day. My good friend was ripped out of a quiet life in college to be that "Charmaine" character, and forced to do all the subterfuge for paranoid Uncle Sam. The WW II "adults" of the day looked in horror at the "hippy goings-on" of the day. If they were young and alive NOW they would all die from shock...THEIR war was righteous, OUR war was a fiasco, Today's war is terrifying. No Viet Cong ever blew up a gay disco stateside.
So get with it and allow your simple brains to follow the 5 or 6 leads in the story. Each one will ring true to at least three 1960's societal woes going on in the background or up front with the actors.
YES! An Intelligence non-NCO spilled the REAL beans about the Nam War, as did Hodiak's son. If the adults in the room back then would have listened to their own HERO, Gen./Pres. Dwight D. Eisenhower in his closing speech, to warn of "the War Industrial Complex" that will destroy the Nation. Duh...? Are you having difficulties following me? Just think about Dick Cheney and his little "civilian" company Halliburton.
And there is Bunchy and the Black Panthers....very real, very bugged by America's favorite Despot, J. Edgar Hoover...also, back then the older ADULTS of the era wanted to be called "Negros" the official term of the day...being called BLACK was highly disturbing to them because TO THEM it denoted "dirt" or something bad. I can really imagine my old neighbor and what they would have said if someone called them an "Afro-American." They would be all up in arms with "Afro" being the wild hairdo and having to advertise "American" who rankle them, the fine people who did NOT ask to come here!
No, the series must be produced well past a THIRD season, there is more to say about that time and how a GROOVY era went out under the power of many little things. One slightly bigger, that of Manson and group that were the fearful exception that our parents would think could swallow us up.... but no.... we soon became THEM. Let me and my contemporaries feel young a lot more. KEEP UP THE SHOW FOR MANY SEASONS.

So this show was renewed.......yet it has been relegated to Saturday nights instead of a prime time slot during the week? Where's the logic in that?

Les, Forever was on ABC not on NBC, you are complaining about the wrong network. And Forever was a horrible show, the ratings prove that which is why it was cancelled. Get with it Les!

Good to see this got renewed. Good summer show on NBC on Thursday nights. Really like this time era shows and think that David Duchovny is doing a fine job.

I really tried to watch Hannibal and made it through most of the first season, but I don't care how good a story is, if the lead actor sounds like he is speaking with a mouth full of marbles and I spend more time trying to figure out what he is mumbling about than enjoying the show, I'm OUT. I've been told that his is is his actual accent. I have no idea if that is true, but if it is, I can not begin to imagine how he ever got an acting job in the first place!

"They cancel a great show like forever and keep this crap?"
Comments like this never get old on this site, even though they happen on every single post about a canceled show.
