A drama following two cop investigating a case that leads them on the trail of Charles Manson.

It's 1967 and the country is in the midst of an era of free love and drug experimentation. While investigating the disappearance of a teenage girl, LA Police Sergeant Sam Hodiak notices that the hippie kids he's questioning don't care much for cops.

Partnering with a rebellious undercover cop that kids can relate to, it doesn't take long for the two to come across a small-time cult leader seeking vulnerable young women to join his cause. Looking deeper, they learn of his possible involvement with drugs, sex, cultural revolution, and even murder. Little did they know that the man they are pursuing will eventually become the infamous killer known as Charles Manson.

The show grew on me, I loved it as much as the man himself. No one is certain if new X-Files will be made or if they'll even be worth it, so to say it's better off Aquarius was killed off so David can film more X-Files is ignorant.
Also, Saturday is NOT a "doomed" time slot, like many of these commenters would have you believe. Look at Cops, Saturday Night Live, Ghost Adventures, etc. Whether you like the shows or not, they've all been going on for over a decade, some more.
Aquarius has ended, sad to see it go, but I'll be buying the blu-rays to enjoy the nostalgia.

Moving a show to saturday is a sign this show is doomed sadly. It's a decent show and it takes place in the past. Which makes it a must watch for me. Well when it's gone this will free up david d for more X FILES. That's the only plus of this I see.

I wasn't sure I would enjoy this show. I've grown up with the whole Manson thing. I was worried about another show sensationalizing him, which is what he wants. But I gave it a try. I really enjoyed it. I had to remind myself it wasn't fact tho. It was hard to not want to correct the writers but then I just relaxed and went with it. I'll keep watching as long as there's an episode. It's TV, don't take it so serious. Enjoy

Disagree with everyone- we LOVE this show! I especially love David Duchovny's portrayal of the smug, yet vulnerable Hodiak. It's fun to see the era that I grew up in on TV with some great tunes too!

Storyline is not accurate, and no reason to sensationalize these horrific events. However, I love the music soundtrack.

About half an hour in the world of drug-addled, sex-crazed, predatory, psycho flower children was all I could stomach.

The whole Charles Manson story who really knows the truth for everyone involved keeps changing there story's. And Its just A confusing boring story anyhow. Who cares about those crazy drug addicts.

They get rid of Taxi Brooklyn so they can have a show like this. Charles Manson is old, old story. Move on we have a lot of new crazies to make shows on.
