Salem Renewed For Season 3

The sophomore drama will return in 2016.

WGN America announced yesterday at Comic-Con in San Diego that Salem has been renewed for a third season. The show, which is the cable network's first original scripted drama, recently concluded Season 2, where it averaged over 1.1 million total viewers.

Production on Season 3 will begin later this year, with an expected premiere in 2016.

Yes! Yes! Yes! I love this show. WGN has a hit and I'm glad they know it. Fantastic story lines and special effects make it a must watch for me. Same with the Strain. Awesome modern versions of their horror genre. I even have the Salem theme as a ring tone. Pound me the Witch drums....

Hell yeah, great show & acting, well written, the first season was really good but did not expect the second to be better but it was, can't wait till season 3.

This last season was great, so glad to hear it was renewed. Now to wait and see what happens with Mary and Tituba.
