The Netflix drama will not return.

Netflix has opted not to continue with Lilyhammer, cancelling the drama after its third season. The streaming service's chief content officer, Ted Sarandos, confirmed the bad news today at the TCA's summer press tour. Economic challenges were cited as the reason for pulling the plug on the show, which is produced in partnership with a Norwegian broadcaster.

Great show I am a fan. I enjoyed sweden also.but once u ad subtitles majority of Americans don't want to.stimulate their mind. Kardashians is enough ..lol

I really tried to like this... got season 1 on DVD from Netflix and made only 3 episodes in. Humor loses way too much when it's all with subtitles. -- same issue with Welcome to Sweden. And the premise of this.... would anyone REALLY relocate to the arctic???

After the first season it kept getting worse and worse. It was time for it to end.

Even though I am 3/4 Norwegian, I still couldn't get into this show. It was so unwatchable I am surprised it lasted this long.
