The low-rated comedy is pulled from the schedule.
July 28, 2015
NBC has cancelled sophomore comedy Welcome To Sweden, pulling the series from its schedule effective immediately. Word broke from creator and star Greg Poehler, who took to Instagram with a heartfelt post this afternoon thanking the fans and crew.
The import comedy was a mild success during its debut run, pulling in decent ratings for a summer series. Its fortunes took a turn for the worse this time around, however, with its numbers falling to less than half of what they were last year for all four of episodes aired.
Taking Welcome To Sweden's time slot this Sunday will be a rerun of Hollywood Game Night. The week following will begin NFL coverage.

I'm from Sweden and I love this show so much, I don't understand why it was cancelled in the middle of the season. This show was so unique and I'm so sad I won't see what happens with the characters...

The only reason This show was green lit was because Amy Pohler wanted her brother to have a job.... horrible show from the start.

Should of aired it a different night like a Saturday when nothing else is on. It was better than some of the other terrible shows that are on...

WHAT!?!?! What a horrible rash decision--while technically four episodes have aired, they were on two Sunday nights, not during the week like last year. This season has been better than last season. We've been laughing out loud!

Too bad. It was getting better this season. Greg Poehler finally realized that comedy isn't doing the stupidest thing you can think of in every situation and never wising up (as he did throughout the first season). This year he took more of a backseat and played the straight man and let the rest of the cast do the work.

Another decent show gone, such a waste.
