August 4, 2014
It is being reported that NBC has picked up the second season of Welcome To Sweden. The comedy, a Swedish import, has already received a Season 2 order for 10 episodes from Sweden's TV4.
The series, which stars Greg Poehler and is executive-produced by sister Amy Poehler, will likely return to the peacock network next summer.

I liked this show. I have lived in Denmark and although they didn't necessarily get the Scandinavian culture right, it's still funny.

As a person who sold everything and quit his job to make a new start with a homesick wife from Europe, I completely understand this show's point of view. It has a bit of reality along with a lot of subtle comedy.

I think this show is good. It seems to be similar in style to "Parks and Recreation" in that it is subtly funny. Greg Poehler is just about as good an actor as his more famous sister Amy. To me, the first couple of episodes were okay, but it seemed to find its comedic stride by the third episode. "Welcome to Sweden" is the greatest imported show since any and all of the British murder mysteries they show on PBS.

Yes Jill, really, at least from a man's perspective.

I really tried with this show, but stopped after the last episode. It just wasn't funny. Agree with Val Friends With Better Lives was so much funnier.
