TV Land has ordered more of the new comedy.

TV Land announced today that Impastor has been renewed for a second season. The freshman dark comedy premiered in July for a 10-episode run, with new episodes airing Wednesday nights following The Jim Gaffigan Show, which was also renewed today. Both shows represent a move towards more single-camera comedies on the cable network.
Look for Season 2 of Impastor in 2016.

This won't last. Too hard to overcome the stupid townsfolk. They would sell the town for a candy bar. Maybe if the writers would have spent some time making it passable.

Yay!! This is a little -known gem that I hope will catch on more widely. Michael Rosenbaum and the rest of the cast are doing a great job of keeping this dark comedy light and fun at the same time.
