I never realized how funny Jim Gaffigan really is until I saw him on this show. It is very, very funny and we definitely need more things to laugh at then just shows about crime. Go ahead laugh a little.

I'm really glad this is working out for him. It's funny stuff and I love that they include snippets of his stand up word for word - it's still funny plus fans are able to recognize it.
I've been a fan for a long time and I've seen him live twice, so I'm very happy he's finding success.

I like how this show is based on his stand up. It is easy to see why he has 5 kids. I like how they use the fact that his wife is super catholic as a point in the show. They don't hide the truth. I also like how they make fun of the fact his stand up is family friendly and people only think it is about food. If you want to understand this show read/listen to "Dad is Fat"

Very surprised at this one. His stand up is excellent. But the show is strained and awkward. Yeah, we get it, he's a pig. Seriously, if he ate like that IRL he'd be 10 times the size he is now. They need new writers who know how to write. He is VERY talented on his standup. Stop focusing on what a lazy pig he is. It has funny moments (like when he was locked out of the building) but the wife is mentally abused and hasn't a clue. They 'elude' to her religious beliefs, I guess trying to explain the 5 kids. Just awkward and silly. They had better improve it because I doubt it will last as it is.

This is great news. Carol Leifer said she loved this show on her Facebook so I knew it had to be funny. And it is. I had never seen his stand up until after I watched a couple of episodes. It helped me to understand some of the jokes on his show. "He does other jokes not just food jokes" I wouldn't have known why he's so defensive when people call him the food comic. Another stand up comic doing a show about being a stand up comic based in New York. Now what was that other show called?

Good. We all like this show. Jim deserves another season. Also thank you for getting rid of the horrible and old Exes and Hot in Cleveland. You guys must have finally turned on your network and saw how bad it was getting.
