The new drama gets the back-nine.
October 16, 2015
Fox has ordered nine additional episodes of Rosewood, picking up the freshman series for a full season. The drama premiered last month, airing as a lead-in to the highly-popular Empire on Wednesday nights.
Rosewood is off to a solid start through its first four episodes, drawing the highest ratings of any new show on the network this fall. It's also the first new show on Fox to earn a full season pickup, and the third across the big four networks behind Blindspot on NBC and Quantico on ABC.

I like this show. The sarcastic cop with emotional walls up is a little cliche but hopefully she'll get more real soon. Not sure of the purpose of the two lesbian lab rats other than lesbianism is so fashionable these days; seems pretty forced. Overall, good show...Morris Chestnut is definitely the star and entertaining.

I like this show. You have to understand it's not a real depiction of a real cop. It's a fun TV show that takes you away from the pits of your real life just for an hour. Just for fun.

This kinda surprises me, but not really I guess considering the crap that keeps getting put out there. I managed to make it through the first episode, but that was it.

I'm surprise that this show made it this far. The story line is so unbelievable. I tried to watch it but it was torture. Just to phoney be really surprise if it makes it for season two.

Enjoying this show. And the ratings are solid so far. This is the only new Fox show that is not bombing so it deserved to get the back nine.

@Ray ... subtract the repetitive shows like Law & Order, CSI, and NCIS and there are very, very few cop shows that last more than a few seasons. Yes, there may be a one or two exceptions (even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then) but in general the cop dramas fade quickly lasting roughly 4 seasons maximum. Which isn't horrible. I'm just surprised that every year people tune in to watch the same repetitive formula rewritten for the same trite characters simply played by new actors. But then.. there are people who think wrestling is real, pay for monster truck rallies and believe in UFO abductions... so... well.. to each his or her own I guess.

@bub I don't know who told you you cop dramas don't last when they are pretty much the only shows that that succeed.

I don't see this lasting. I just feel like this has already been done a bunch of times.
