Season 2 gets a few more episodes.
November 9, 2015
NBC has ordered three additional episodes for Season 2 of The Mysteries of Laura. The Debra Messing drama has been a modest performer for the network so far in its sophomore season, which is nearing its halfway point.
Today's pickup extends the show's original 13-episode renewal to a total of 16.

I like this show. The last episode was was a shocker. (NO SPOILER) the show is fun and lighthearted for a cop drama. So many are gory and scary! It is great if you like that type, like my daughter. I can watch without waking up at 3am from a horrible nightmare. (i just do that) I enjoy Debra Messing and the rest of the gang. They seem to be more realistic than other women cop shows where they run in 6' heels and hair, makeup and clothes are always perfect. I like Castle also but Laura is good group to watch :) Hope to see a season 3

I'm not a fan of the show I stopped after the pilot episode but my mom loves it and is always talking about how it needs to have a longer season. Happy I can let her know. I personally have nothing against it I'm just kinda burned out on cop dramas. Dexter, longmire, and castle will be my last for awhile. I stopped watching NCIS after season 10. If cop dramas were dinner I've had my fill and don't want anymore for awhile. Hope they extend MYsteries of Laura for its fans to 22-24 episode seasons.

I love this show and hope that it goes on for many Many more seasons. I love the whole cast. I have basically gave up on tv because every time there's a show I find I like it gets cancel, but they extend gross shows like walking dead and zombies. They are fine for those who like them, but not everyone are into zombie and gross shows. You and other networks have canceled so many great shows as The Mentalist, CSI, South Beach Tow Lizard Lick, Hardcore Pawn, Bad Judge and the list goes on to the point I turned off cable and no longer even have a tv, I go to neighbors to watch the couple shows that are left.Ya'll need to take the time out and send us consumers servey's and ask us what shows we like and our age range so that we All are being acomidated.

Have enjoyed the show since episode one. Glad they are beginning to smooth the edges off the new Captain....I do not understand why Hollyweird can't seem to comprehend the fact we ordinary common folks have to put up with this kind of character, who should be a team builder, instead in most cases serves as nothing but a conflict instigator as a boss in the real world....We do not find it entertaining to watch it on one of our favorite TV shows. Hollyweirdo producers must all be a bunch of perverts like that Tarintino butt munch.

Last season was just awful. I only stayed because of Debra Messing. This year they've gotten a bigger budget with better writing and better plots and it's turned into an enjoyable show.
Love Debra, LOVE Max, don't care for the husband who's always begging her to take him back (that gets old after so long), Love the two cops in the relationship, (sorry I don't know their names right off) and can't stand the new Capt.
So, there are more good points to watch than bad ones, so I'm in for the duration.

Debra Messing is great. The rest of the cast not so much. I miss Frankie. Can't stand Jake and the new Captain. I quit watching the show.
