AMC firms up a Season 2 premiere date.

AMC has announced an early 2016 date for the Season 2 premiere of Better Call Saul. The drama, which follows the early years of Breaking Bad character Saul Goodman, will premiere its second season on Monday, February 15 at 10:00pm.
Better Call Saul drew solid ratings for AMC during its premiere run earlier this year. The cable network had actually renewed the show for a second season before its premiere, anticipating a sizable audience for the show seeing as how it was based on an already-known and popular character.

You know this is a staple of society when other series are already copying the name.. a la Homeland Season 5 episode 5 "Better Call Saul" -- sure its a different Saul but clearly the name was derived from this series. Hope it continues down the path Season 1 was on. so far it's been pretty good.
