The drama scores an early pickup for 2020.
July 28, 2018
Nearly one year to the date of its last renewal, AMC announced today that Better Call Saul will be returning for a fifth season. But unlike last year, the good news comes ahead of its current season premiere rather than following the finale.
Fans of the Breaking Bad prequel will undoubtedly be pleased with the early pickup, as it gives the show at least two more seasons - including Season 4 which premieres August 6 - to explore Jimmy McGill's full transformation into Saul Goodman. With each passing season, the worlds of Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad overlap more and more, providing plenty of fan service to viewers of both shows.
Look for Season 5 of Better Call Saul in 2020.

This show is truly great. Season 5 and then six will happen too. They could go to 8 if they want.

I have gotten in the habit of fast forwarding when there are slow moments in tv shows or movies. Like when people are driving and they follow the car or when someone is just going about alone and not really doing anything. In this show I don't fast forward. It is pretty amazing how they can hold you attention when someone is just doing something kind of weird with no dialogue. One of my favorites.

I'm so glad to see this. This renewal is one of the few slam dunks of TV these days.

This show is sooo good. This is great news. And we get to see how Jimmy dealt with the death of his brother.

Very happy to hear this. The Breaking Bad characters being involved has been great and we don't have to deal with Saul's brother any more!
