FX announced today that Fargo has been renewed for a third season. Creator Noah Hawley will once again helm the Emmy Award-winning series, though it not clear whether its next installment will feature new characters in a different time period as Season 2 did.
Fargo is currently airing new episodes on Monday nights, with its critically-acclaimed second season scheduled to wrap up in mid-December. Look for Season 3 in 2017, though a premiere date has not been announced as of yet.

One of the best shows on television. Bokeem woodbine is a terrible actor but this show even made him look genius.. Cant wait for season 3

Both seasons were equally as good as each other, absolutely brilliant - so happy they are continuing this show.

For season 3, I'd love to see Allison Tolman and Colin Hanks back! I know Hanks is in Life in Pieces, but they were so good in season 1.

Billy Bob was genius in an amazing 1st season, and season 2 almost as good.

I agree; this is one of the best series on TV and it should continue indefinitely, like Game of Thrones or the Walking Dead.

This season is so good. Much better than the first. The writing and acting is awesome. Also the split screens are great. This season is on the same level with Breaking Bad and season four of Dexter.

Love this show. Worst part about it are the commercials and waiting a week between episodes.

Expected as much, this season is even better than season 1 which for me set the tone for the series. The writing, the cast, the attention to detail I just love it. Would have to be the best show on TV today.

season one was great but this one is even better. A trip back to 1979 no less! They really capture the times in some ways too. The cast is stellar as well. It's a can't be missed show for many people I know. Where will they go next season? the 90's? 1999?.
