FXX announced today that You're The Worst has been renewed for a third season. The critically-acclaimed comedy, which moved from FX to sister network FXX for its sophomore run, wraps up its current season next Wednesday.
Show creator Stephen Falk was also signed to a multi-year deal where he will create and develop new projects for FX Networks and FX Productions.
Look for Season 3 of You're The Worst to premiere in summer 2016.

LBT clearly doesn't understand bipolar issues. She was already happy again at the end of season 2. It's a quick swing (in either direction), not a slow progression.

Depression story does not mix with the slapstick. Breaking new ground does not always work. I don't see how she can suddenly become happy again, unless the next season is about him making her happy. (Is this a cry for help by one of the writers?)

This is good news. While quite raunchy, the show has interesting characters that are scumbags, yes, but scumbags one can care about. The writing is first-rate also. Score another one for creative, unique programming.
