Amazon is concluding the British drama.

Amazon announced today that Ripper Street will be coming to an end after its fifth season. The Victorian-era drama has been available on Amazon Prime Instant Video in the U.K. since being revived from its BBC cancellation in 2014.
Season 5 has already begun production in Dublin for an expected premiere later this year.

One of the very best shows to come out of BBC. Pity it was canceled, glorious that it was resurrected, and now it looks to be done for. That's too bad. This is one of those shows with the right stories, superb cast, fantastic characters, and that incredibly enticing setting. Just outstanding in every respect. Will surely miss this show when it ends.
