Ripper Street has been renewed for Seasons 4 and 5 on Amazon Prime Instant Video. The drama was rescued from cancellation last year after signing a deal with the online giant, which acquired the UK subscription streaming rights for the show.
The deal has worked out well for US audiences as well, as BBC America has remained onboard to co-produce and air new episodes.

This is great news. They have lots of stories left after all the 19th century was full of crime. And we get at least 2 more seasons!.

Yeah.... You're right John. S3 ended on a happy satisfied note. I'm interested how many years later they will start off the season.

Could have sworn that it was gone for good after season 3. They've tied up almost all the loose ends.
