After a long wait, there is finally some news to report on a premiere date for Season 5 of Person of Interest. It has been almost a year since the veteran drama was renewed for a fifth season, and today CBS has scheduled its premiere for Tuesday, May 3 at 10:00pm.
Seemingly wanting to get the season over with as soon as possible, the network is also adding new episodes on Monday nights at 10:00pm for a total of two new episodes each week beginning May 9.
The season finale will air on Tuesday, June 21 at 10:00pm.
Update: CBS has confirmed that Person of Interest will end after Season 5.
“We’re extremely excited to be able share this final season with the fans,” said series creator & executive producer Jonah Nolan and executive producer Greg Plageman in an issued statement. “We’re eternally grateful to our amazing cast and crew, as well as our partners at the studio and network. Most of all, we want to thank the show’s fans — the best fans in the world. This subversive little paranoia-inducing cyberpunk-thriller is for you and would not have been possible without your support. As life has come to imitate Person of Interest, it’s been our great privilege to work on the show for the past five seasons. We can’t wait for you to experience this thrilling and final chapter.”

What are you talking about, everyone is most likely pleased that POI is getting an ending. Sad to see it go but this is how it happens. More importantly check your spelling and Gramma. Your rant makes no sense?
But they know its ending this season (most likely) so they better make it count after all this time!!
