It is being reported that CBS has renewed Life in Pieces for a second season. The good news comes after a solid performance during its freshman season, where it aired in the coveted Thursday night time slot following The Big Bang Theory. The show wrapped up the season ranking as the Number 1 new comedy among adults 18-49 as well as total viewers.
Look for Season 2 of Life in Pieces to premiere as part of the network's 2016-2017 lineup.

meh.... I don't think CBS has much more to offer that isn't either reality or cop dramas. This show was okay... but nothing that special in my opinion. I really dislike the "next up..." previews within the show. They are a mark of POOR editing and direction if you're that worried a commercial will cause people to stop watching the show in progress.

I couldn't be more pleased. We love this show so much, and laugh all the way thru it. And what a wonderful cast they have put together. James Berlin, and Diane Weist are brilliant. Thank you for seeing this shows worth.

Haven't watch it yet, except for a few minutes here and there. It seems solid though and now that it got picked up for a second season, it is binge watching time on cbs.com!

I live looking back at the ordered for a full season comments and seeing everyone say it won't get a second season. Well I guess yall are wrong and you better not watch the second season as it's got a huge dam following without you.
