The comedy will return for 2017-2018.

CBS announced today that Life in Pieces has been renewed for a third season. The good news comes as the comedy winds down on a sophomore season that continued its its solid performance on Thursday nights, where it airs behind Mom, which was also renewed today.
Life in Pieces follows three generations of the Short family, with each episode telling four separate short stories that each focus on a different branch of the clan.
Look for Season 3 of Life in Pieces to premiere as part of the network's 2017-2018 lineup this fall.

Okay the episode that introduced Clementine to the family I've watched at least 6 times. I watch the reaction of all those great comediennes. but the father is the greatest.....love it!!!!

I love this show. I've never laughed so much from a show before this one. Everyone is so funny. They do a great job!!!!! Great show!!!

I love this sit-com! I so look forward to watching it. I wish it would come out 12 months a year. We live in horrendous times, we need to have a good laugh at least once a week. "Life in Pieces" is that dose.

I am 66 and have seen a lot of sitcoms in my time. This is , by far, the funniest series I have ever seen. I binge watched season 1 on Netflix and couldn't wait, so purchased season 2. I have watched both seasons 3 times since June. Can't wait for season 3! I love love love this hilarious show and every single character on it.

Love love love this show. The concept, the writing, the cast, the chemistry of the cast. When I lived on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, Dianne Wiest lived in the same building!! I was in the elevator once and she got on with her dog. Nicest woman I've ever met. And she's a great actress to boot.
