The Omen follow-up will not return for Season 2.
May 20, 2016
It was announced today that A&E has cancelled Damien after its first season. Series creator Glen Mazzara posted the bad news on Twitter this afternoon, citing low ratings as the reason for the show not continuing.
The drama aired a short 10-episode run between March and May on Monday nights, but failed to draw a significant audience.

I was kinda pumped for this ...but a disappointment overall. I got thru a couple episodes. The acting was not that strong especially with the main character. There was not much to it to keep me watching.

I knew this show would be cancelled, I am just surprised it even lasted past the first episode. It was so boring and slow! After the first episode, I stopped watching the whole thing and just skipped to the last 5 mins lol, then I stopped bothering all together.

I didn't even know this existed. Must have been poorly advertised. I would have watched if I had known. I hope to catch it streaming or on DVD.

I liked it but it did move slowly so I can see why some didn't enjoy it as much.

I liked "the returned" much better. And of course 'the glades' which they never even gave us a ending for. this channel cancels everything. like 'longmire' which netflix saved. they won't be saving this one.
