July 21, 2016
Netflix announced today at San Diego Comic-Con that Daredevil has been renewed for a third season. The success of the sophomore drama, which was the first Marvel superhero series on the streaming service, has paved the way for others such as Jessica Jones and the upcoming Luke Cage.
Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez, who took over showrunner duties for Season 2, will stay on with Daredevil going forward. Look for Season 3 to return in 2018.

I am a 66 yr. Old woman. I love daredevil, my daughter and her kids love daredevi. My son and his family also love daredevil. This programs has captured 3 generations of viewers. Don't cancel it. We have lost Grimm and Sleepy Hollow. Please don't let us down. Norma

daredevil is a great show. I thought season one took way to long to get to the costume. but it's a quality show all of netflix series are damn good.

I agree with Bonkers. Netflix has been killing it on Marvel content. They have been doing great and I will keep giving them my time and money. If they aren't giving up on a series I wont be as well! :D

Season 1 was a HARD act to follow, but I thought they did very well with Season 2. In fairness it did take a long time to build up momentum. Im all in for Season 3 - Netflix has certainly earned my loyality with its Marvel interpretations, even despite the Jessica fiasco... As Cal said: This pleases me as well!

Me too Cal. It also pleases me that they are gonna do a punisher spin off because of how much fans liked the character and wanted more.

.. dunno... season 2 was dreadfully boring. That monotone voice of Charlie Cox doesn't do much for the series... and the fact that all fight scenes are at night in poorly lit sets... I mean I get it's a nighttime superhero prowl, but not seeing the action just gets annoying. I didn't even get past episode 9 of season 2.... just bored by the whole thing.... season 1 was better.
