The drama ends after one season.
September 2, 2016
There will be no Season 2 of AMC's new summer series Feed the Beast. The cable network has opted to cancel the David Schwimmer drama after just one season of 10 episodes, citing subpar performance. The show's final episode aired in early August.
Feed the Beast received a straight-to-series order from the cable network last year, with a premise based on the Danish show Bankerot following two close friends who open a restaurant together. Its premiere episode drew modest viewership but by its second week those numbers fell to less than half, where they stayed for the rest of its run. Critical reception wasn't any better, with generally less-than-favorable reviews coming out of many outlets.
It is uncommon for AMC to end a new series after just one season. Feed the Beast joins only Low Winter Sun and Rubicon as shows with that distinction.

BTW, if you don't like David Schwimmer, why were you watching the show? For me every show is similar, you just watch the one that has the actors you like in it.

I liked it. I feel the mobster was overdone, but it
could have developed given more time and possibly another writer

Usually don't comment on these but I actually really liked a lot about the show - both the concept and the staff. But I just found it unrelentingly grim and depressing and it just ground me down to where the thought of turning it on was just exhausting. It needed a little joy to offset the darkness.

AAARRRGGHHH I really liked this show! Yes Schwimmer lacked some oomph but other than that I enjoyed it and it was just getting going! Oh well!

All because of m moapy-faced, mono-toned David Schwimmer. He SUCKS!!!! Every time I see that sappy faced moron, I want to punch him right in his whinny little mouth.

I agree with bub, why do these networks keep giving shows to one dimensional actors like Schwimmer! Please stop wasting our time!!

Schimmer should be in the new Magnificent Seven movie... I can just see him... "uh... eh... come on, don't shoot us.. uh... eh...." He's just a whiny little bitch with his over-the-top "Oliver Twist' style begging puppy-dog eyes in every in every role in everything he's ever done. He has no other emotion on camera other than "whiny" sure angry whiny, sad whiny, happy whiny, curious whiny.. and whiny whiny... but it's all the same.

Well I actually liked the show. Like all shows I think if they would have given it another season it would have developed into a good show. IMHO canceling a show after just one season is killing a lot of potentially very good shows.
