The drama is pulled after five episodes.

Reports are out that ABC has pulled new series Time After Time from its schedule after just five episodes. The move does not come as much of a surprise after a slow start to the time travel drama, which has finished last against its Sunday night competition in each of its airings.
Based on the novel and movie of the same name, the series followed famed science fiction writer H.G. Wells and his time travelling adventures to modern day Manhattan in search of the murderous Jack the Ripper.
Today's cancellation sees Time After Time become the second show of the season to be pulled early in its run. CBS drama Doubt was yanked last month after just two episodes. Taking over its 9:00pm time slot for now will be episodes of Match Game beginning this Sunday, April 2.

I would have been shocked if this had been renewed though I would also have been glad. But couldn't they at least air the episodes that are already recorded??? It is an insult to the audience that has invested time to just pull a show off the air. Viewers have no real recourse. It started off as way too much of a rip- off of the movie, but it was starting to peak my interest when they were turning it into more of a family vs. family drama.
I will give ANY show with time travel a chance, but personally I prefer Timeless. If by some miracle it gets picked up, I'll be very excited while waiting/hoping they work out the kinks in that show.
I'm waiting to see what happens to Making History. It is so quirky and unique that it might just find an audience.

YOU "NETWORK SUITS" ARE MORONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Give a show a GODDAMN chance!!!!! 5 episodes and you cancel it??!! But stupid shit like reality garbage you leave on the air??!!
Here's an idea, why wait 5 shows? Just cancel DURING the 1st episode...why not, you collect your $$$$$ for the commercials then cancel before the credits roll...WHY NOT, YOU DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT US LOYAL "WATCHERS," YOU'VE PROVED THAT "TIME AFTER TIME" (PUN INTENDED!!)!

Really saw this coming. Just one bad guy to chase season after season?? The writing was better than average, the main male/female leads were terrific and the supporting cast was fine but where do you go from here? George keeps trying to keep history together is weak. There is SO many details of "history" to keep track of it's impossible. Jack the Ripper not being in London being one of them; there is some good evidence he did come to America after London became too hot. But jumping time? SO much they could have done, but stuck as a one note song...

That's too bad, was interested in what developed with the Dr and the Ripper.
I did love the movie so much more than this show but it was still entertaining.

WOW, that was fast; I still have them on my DVR, hadn't even got around to watching yet. I guess I got some more free space I can always use!

Not really surprising. The pilot was nice, but afterward it kinda went downhill.
