No Season 4 for the space drama.
September 1, 2017
Word is out this afternoon that Dark Matter has been cancelled at Syfy after three seasons. Series co-creator Joseph Mallozzi confirmed the news in a post this afternoon on his personal blog, expressing his deep sadness in a brief statement and promising to follow up with more thoughts in a further entry.
Based on the graphic novel of the same name, the Canadian-produced space drama follows the crew of a derelict spaceship who awaken from stasis with no memories of who they are or how they got on board the vessel. They then work together to survive the voyage, facing threats such as betrayal, secrets, and vengeance around every corner.
The series aired its final episode just last week, ending a three-year run with a total of 39 episodes.

y'all don't get it... thus WAS NOT a SyFy show.. SyFy PURCHASED it from another company. Chances are the OTHER company decided not to renew it so SyFy has nothing left to buy. The shows SyFy makes (Asylum) are much, much, much worse than this show. Rest assured if something airs on the SyFy channel and it's worth actually watching and not another movie in the Sharknado series..... it's not a SyFy show.

Put another good show on your cancelled list SYFY. Gone downhill since the switch from sci-fi.
