No Season 2 for the grindhouse drama.
September 6, 2017
It's one and done for Blood Drive. After tonight's first-season finale, show creator James Roland broke the news that Syfy is cutting the grindhouse-style drama's run short, cancelling the series after its first 13 episodes.
Roland posted a blog entry on midnightgrindhouse.com to let fans know that tonight would be the final episode, expressing sadness that his vision for Season 2 might never be realized. He remained optimistic, though, that NBC Universal might find a new home for the series.
Set in a dystopian future of 1999 Los Angeles where crime is commonplace, Blood Drive follows the city's last good cop who runs afoul of the dirtiest underground car rally in the world. Its a race where the master of ceremonies is a vaudevillian nightmare, the cars run on human blood, and the drivers are homicidal deviants. His only chance to survive is to partner up with a dangerous femme fatale on the twisted cross-country death race.

This was so funny.., it was a typical adult 70-80's bloodbath it was awesome with all the voice over and vcr/film type of noise over the picture hopefully someone will pick this up

Shame it took awhile to work kinks out but it ended as a solid gridhouse production.

I liked it when the man put his man part onto the ladys woman part, then they would make sound like apes and he would squirt her with skin-so-soft on her face.

Nooo!! Gutted. Our fav show. This was fresh and sooo OTT. For sure, it needs an audience into Grindhouse to fully appreciate it. I really hope a new it finds a new home.

I have to give the Arthur character credit for a joke I really liked. He was trying to appeal to an angry crowd and he stammered out:
"Two muffins were in an oven getting cooked and the first muffin said 'Boy, it's pretty hot in here, isn't it?". The second muffin turned to him and said, "Holy sh!t, a talking muffin!".

Noooooo!!! We love this show. We have so much fun watching it. You never knew what was going to happen next or what moral line the writers were going to cross that was boing to make you cringe. Feels a little Tarantino-ish. Well I will sure miss Slink. Great actor, great character. Hope it gets picked up elsewhere.

This show was crazy and it seemed to lose focus went it went away from the race. And grindhouse does not have a huge following which is why this show was such a gambit. I liked it and will miss it.

Ha... Viewers NOT watching means there's no reason for 4 seasons. Seriously 4?? Are you on drugs?? Most shows never get 4 seasons.
