The zombie drama will continue in 2018.
December 15, 2017
Syfy announced today that Z Nation has been renewed for a fifth season. The good news comes on the same day as the zombie drama's Season 4 finale, which aired in a super-sized two-hour block for the first time in the show's history.
Set in a post-zombie apocalypse, Z Nation follows a group of everyday heroes trying to save humanity as they search for a cure for the virus. Now at over 50 total episodes, the series has been a reliable performer for the cable network over the course of its run, regularly ranking as one its top-rated originals.
While no details have been released on what to expect in Season 5, a tweet from executive producer David Michael Latt showed an image stating, "The Reset Begins". Look for Season 5 of Z Nation in the fall of 2018.
THANK YOU #ZNATION FANS - WE'VE BEEN RENEWED FOR A 5TH SEASON!
