No Season 6 for the zombie drama.

Word is out that Z Nation has been cancelled by Syfy and will end its run after its current fifth season. Executive producer David Michael Latt broke the news to fans with a video message posted on his Twitter account confirming that there will be no Season 6.
Set in a post-zombie apocalypse, Z Nation follows a group of everyday heroes trying to save humanity as they search for a cure for the virus. On the air since 2014, the zombie drama is the longest-running scripted original currently in the cable network's roster.
The show will sign off for good with its series finale, fitting titled "The End of Everything", on December 28.

Don't forget the term "puppies and kittens" was a nod to TWD. Both shows are great for different reasons. I will really miss the campiness of this show. How about giving the fans a one or two hour movie to close up the show.... Oh well, another one bites the dust.

ZNation was such a great show! I was more excited to watch ZNation than I was to watch The walking Dead. Why do you guys always cancel the best shows just to put on crap??? ZNATION was one of my favorite things to watch. Please let another network pick this up

So did this show have a decent ending or was it cliffhangery? I have so many shows I haven't started watching yet and usuall start some once it's over. If this one doesn't have a good enough ending, I just delete the whole show and don't even get into it so I don't get into a show for it to just....end. Like The Glade where they freaking shot the main character and it gets canceled.

ZNation was a lighthearted comedy and was not meant to compete with TWD. I am a Walking Dead fan, but it does get depressing at times and Z was more of my guilty pleasure due to it's "puppies and kittens" take on the whole "Zombie" idea. I will def miss ZNation.

it needs a proper ending. the last 3 seasons it has been losing ground. lost its humor. the talkers storyline was kinda dumb.

z nation was a comedy and I dug tbe George character. Walking dead is good but it so depressing , I love it though. I wish we had one more season of z nation for a proper ending.

George killed it. Warren's character was good to the end, Always remember the zombie hurricane.

We ONLY need the Walking Dead it will be on the air for many more years and is the FAR superior show! Bye Bye Z-Nation
