The comedy continues its impressive run.

ABC announced today that Black-ish will be returning for a fifth season. The pickup is no surprise, as the veteran comedy remains a solid part of the network's Tuesday night lineup.
Known for storylines related to real-world issues based on current events pertaining to African-Americans, the half-hour series continues to draw critical acclaim - including multiple award wins from the NAACP Image Awards.
Black-ish follows patriarch Andre 'Dre' Johnson, who has a beautiful wife, a job he loves, and four kids. They all live in a nice colonial home in the suburbs, but Dre wonders if success has brought too much assimilation to his African-American family.
Look for Season 5 of Black-ish this fall.

Becuase tons of people visit this site. If you look at the comments you can see very many people don't really visit this site. So the 2.8 rating from this site means nothing.

I, too, was surprised to see a 2.8 on this site. I know it is a very limited sample, but wow. I like this show.

Yay! That's great to hear! "Black-ish" really is a great show with writers who are bold enough to take on serious topics unlike some others I can think of.

2.8 star average and it gets renewed?
Could it be because the network doesn't want cries of racism from the cast?
If you're white, don't plan on your show lasting long.
