The veteran comedy will continue in 2020-2021.

ABC announced today that Black-ish has been picked up for a seventh season. The renewal is no surprise, as the veteran comedy has remained a solid performer in the network's Tuesday night lineup.
Known to incorporate storylines related to real-world issues based on current events pertaining to African-Americans, the half-hour series continues to draw critical acclaim - including picking up multiple awards from the NAACP Image Awards. The show is ABC's second-longest running comedy currently on the air, and will reach the 150-episode milestone in Season 7.
Black-ish follows patriarch Andre 'Dre' Johnson, who has a beautiful wife, a job he loves, and four kids. They all live in a nice colonial home in the suburbs, but Dre wonders if success has brought too much assimilation to his African-American family.
The show's second spin-off, Mixed-ish, was also renewed today for a second season. The first spin-off, Grown-ish, was picked up by Freeform for Season 4 earlier this year.
Look for Season 7 of Black-ish this fall as part of the 2020-2021 season.
