The Matt LeBlanc comedy will return in 2018-2019.
May 12, 2018
CBS gave out some good news to Man With A Plan today, renewing the comedy for a third season. The pickup comes with two episodes remaining in the show's sophomore run, which has continued to garner decent ratings on Monday nights airing after Kevin Can Wait.
The comedy premiered in 2016 as Matt LeBlanc's first return to network television since his career-making turn as Joey Tribbiani on Friends and its subsequent spin-off Joey. In Man With A Plan, LeBlanc plays as a married man with three young children. His work as a contractor has seen his wife taking on most of the child-rearing responsibilities, but when she decides to go back to work, he must adjust to his new role as a stay-at-home dad.
Look for Season 3 of Man With A Plan this fall.

Hello...it's January so when is "Man with a Plan" coming back on TV? I quit watching these other shows on Monday night due to lack of talent and content!

Glad to see that this show is coming back. I don't watch much tv (not much worth watching), but I will continue to watch this.

Great show, most episodes are funny and entertaining, only a few that aren't. I also watched Matt LeBlanc on "Episodes" and was surprised at how good it was so I gave this show a chance and it is also good. Who would've that he'd be the most successful after friends.

In answer to Lixter - I watched every episode of 'Episodes' and loved it too - It was on cable, and I was just comparing the regular channels - Love Matt LeBlanc !!!

Really liked this show at first, but then they started in with the female empowerment b.s., political b.s. and the wife was behind it all and annoyed me to no end. I quit watching. Glad for those who like it that it was renewed. And for the cast, who I really loved.

Adding Stacy Keach and Swoosie Kurtz to the mix had me tuning in every week as opposed to the first season, which was more hit-or-miss with me. Glad it's coming back for another season.
