No Season 3 for the cable drama.

It is being reported that Freeform has cancelled Famous in Love after two seasons. The sad news comes less than a month since the drama's May 30 sophomore finale, which now acts as its series ender.
Developed in-part by I. Marlene King, known for her work on Pretty Little Liars, the series premiered last spring and performed fairly well during its freshman run. Ratings took a hit in Season 2, though, with same-day viewership down an average of roughly 20% compared to the year before.
Based on the novel of the same name by Rebecca Serle, Famous in Love stars Bella Thorne as college student Paige Townsen, who gets her big break after auditioning for the lead role in a big-name Hollywood blockbuster. With big changes on the horizon, Paige must now navigate her new life in the spotlight while managing the undeniable chemistry with her two co-leads.

This show was fun. Not super, but okay. But Bella Thorne is SUCH a bad actress (botox face) I think it all went wrong from there.. Too bad.

I loved the first few episodes when it was about Bella Thorne's character being a fish out of water. ALL of the other story lines were boring and wasteful of time. The writers just kept piling on more and more of them until the Paige Townsen story was just a tiny bit of the show. I think that killed it. At least that is why I lost interest. I recorded the shows and only watched the Paige parts in season two. So I was done watching in five to ten minutes. Bella Thorne is a great actress. It is clear in the first episode of season one when she is auditioning.

Bella Thorne is an awful actress who Loves to parade in her underwear. she is always in those butt crack swallowing booty shorts..Poor girl.That's all she has going for her..

Bella Thorne can not act. She gets parts to show off her backside in a bikini or underwear, that's all. Seriously, everything she's been in since becoming and adult shows off her ass in at least one scene. She's paid to "tease" not act.. because she can't act.

This is based on a book, therefore the definition of Not Original. This would not get an original screenplay, but ADAPTED screen play award. That is without it being a tired played out idea. Small town girl in the big city. NOT Original at all.

No! I really loved this show! I didn’t like season 2 as much as the 1st, but I still enjoyed watching the show. I was hoping for a 3rd season and seeing Paige and Rainer get together after their cute scene at the end of S2.

i disagree with some of the other comments this was a great show. very original, and im surprised freeform canceled it. its a shame.

Michael, I agree! Freeform cancels everything. I'm down to three shows on their network and two of those are canceled after their next season! I decided not to watch Sirens or Cloak & Dagger...why bother!
