Hallmark Channel announced this evening that Good Witch will be returning for a fifth season. The good news, which comes a month after the dramedy's Season 4 finale, was delivered at this summer's Television Critics Association press tour.
The original family drama has continued be to a solid performer for the cable network, with this season's viewership staying more or less consistent with recent years numbers. The series ranks as Hallmark's top primetime original series.
Good Witch stars Catherine Bell as Cassie Nightingale, Middleton's favorite enchantress who shares a special intuition with her teenage daughter. When Dr. Sam Radford and his son arrive in town, they are immediately taken by their spellbinding new neighbors. Unfortunately Sam and Cassie do not see eye to eye, but Cassie uses her signature charm to try and bring everybody together.
Look for Season 5 of Good Witch in 2019.

Love this show & happy to hear it will be returning, once again. Bell is great, as are all actors in this great show.
Been watching Good Witch since the very first movie.

I preferred the movies, but we still find the TV series to be very easy viewing. I would probably check out anything with Catherine Bell and/or Catherine Disher. I'm glad Hallmark renewed this family show. My family will keep watching.

I stumbled on this on Netflix and got hooked. Now I'm watching all the original movies. Can't wait for Season 5!

That's the good thing about channels like Hallmark gives the shows a chance that said I don't watch this but I know a few who will be happy

This is good, a clean wholesome, yet very entertaining show gets to stay on the air, happy to hear it!!
