Hallmark Channel announced today that production has started on Season 2 of its original family drama Good Witch. The freshman series was formally renewed for 12 new episodes back in April after becoming the network's #1 primetime original series.
Hallmark Channel also announced a two-hour sneak preview of Good Witch's second season for October, though an exact date and time has not been scheduled at this time.

Absolutely love this show please don't cancel it. Rooting for Cassie and Ryan to be together. I hope the show is renewed

Personally, I think Abigail's character works a lot better in the series that she does in The Good Witch's Family. In the TV movie, she was basically just an antagonist. In the series, both Abigail and Cassie as having good intentions, and their respective powers to sow chaos and order can be good or bad depending on the situation. You can see where Abigail is coming from. It's a much more balanced approach. Very yin and yang.

I absolutely love this show. The production values are very good, as is the acting. The storyline is sweet but moves along, with twists and turns in the story for most all characters. I'ts just a lovely show, and when you're watching it, it feels like you're listening to really good orchestral music.
Catherine Bell's character is the glue which keeps everyone together and she's a perfect fit for this role. She was the lead actor in the Good Witch TV movies, and it was watching all 5 of them that made me want to watch this series. Can't wait for the season to start.

This is a lovely show! Catherine Bell makes me smile every time she is on camera. She exudes wholesomeness and all that is good in the world. I am rooting for a relationship with Sam for Cassi. I don't want to slight the other terrific actors in this series, they bring a little sunshine into my life each time I watch. Bravo Hallmark Channel you have another winner!
