It is being reported that Netflix has cancelled The Break with Michelle Wolf after just one season. The new series, which aired 10 episodes released on a weekly basis, was one of the streaming service's most-recent efforts to break into the comedic talk / variety show segment.
The show's May premiere came not long after star Michelle Wolf made headlines with her controversial speech at this year's White House Correspondents' Dinner. But despite the current buzz around the comedian, word is viewership did not meet expectations, resulting in today's cancellation.
The Break with Michelle Wolf is a topical series that blended sketches with live comedy and in-studio guests. The titular comedian unapologetically took aim at just about everything and everyone, with no subject off limits.

I have to say I'm glad about this one. I didn't find her funny either!

This woman is complete trash and I'm glad her show got cancelled. There is a huge difference between good ole ribbing and what this moron tried to pass off as "comedy". She is as disgusting in her humor as her voice is to humankind. Good bye (hopefully forever, but knowing libs it won't surprise me if some other failing TV broadcast gives her a job) you worthless, unfunny, vulgar woman.

It is sad, but then again I was not sure how far the show would go. It was an interesting move for Netflix to go and I was curious how Michelle’s big break would go. I think that was in part why she called the show, The Break. Anyways, the show was intertwining in some aspects. A bit innovative and creative. It was almost easy to see that it probably would not pull that many people in, but I still tuned in. Oh well Michelle. You keep moving. This is just one door closing and I am sure a new door will open soon. Best of luck.
