No Season 3 for the horror drama.
October 2, 2018
It is being reported that Cinemax will not be ordering a third season of Outcast. News of the cancellation comes just days after the drama's sophomore finale, which now acts as its series ender.
From creator Robert Kirkman, the series premiered in 2016 and while reviews were generally favorable, it struggled to find a sizeable audience. Season 2 would still happen though, as the show received an early renewal three months ahead of its series debut. But with Cinemax keeping its already-produced second season off the air in 2017, the writing was already on the wall that Season 3 was not to be.
Outcast followed a young man who has suffered from possessions for as long as he can remember. As an adult, he sets out on a journey looking for answers but what he discovers could potentially mean the end of life on Earth.

I am no longer confused, I didn't watch this show, I watch the other. So yeah... there's that blond moment... lol
Season 2, to me, was jsut as dark as season 1.. but.. season 2 SEVERELY lacked any "mystery" or suspense. It was merely going through the motions of a story they told in the previous season. They added a herd of new characters without any real footing for them and devalued the existing characters to the point that they were then "bit players" in the series overall.
Season 1, in terms of ending the story, honestly ends at a MUCH better place overall than season 2 does. Season 2 ends in the same mish-mash, convoluted, way the rest of season 2 ran. Both season end in somewhat of a cliffhanger, but season 1 FELT complete.. season 2 felt like they just gave up and were thankful they fulfilled the 10 episode contract.
I guess I won't watch any more if season 2 wasn't very good and it won't be back anyway.
I enjoyed what I have watched so far though. Shame, it was something different.
