It looks like it's one and done for Take Two on ABC. It is being reported that the network has cancelled the police procedural after its first season.
The series premiered in June for a 13-episode summer run that ultimately under-performed on Thursday nights. It its 10:00pm time slot, the show was often bested by repeats aired by the other networks.
Take Two stars Rachel Bilson as former actress Sam Swift, who played a detective in a hit TV series until suffering a public breakdown. Wanting to restart her career, Sam convinces a private investigator named Eddie, played by Eddie Cibrian, to let her shadow him as research for a potential comeback role. While Eddie isn't too keen on his new babysitting gig at first, Sam is able to prove herself valuable by using the skills she learned while playing a cop.

The commercials made me cringe, no way would I waste time watching an ABC show anyway!!!

Umm...unless I'm missing something the show obviously wasn't that good since it was cancelled.

ABC blows it again. This was a cute show and I love Rachel Bilson and Eddie together!

Characters were trite and simply not credible.

Ugh. Terrible decision. can’t any network exec watch the shows before they cancel them?
