A drama following a former actress who teams up with a private investigator to solve crimes.
Sam Swift is a former actress who played a detective in a hit TV series until suffering a public breakdown that sends her to rehab.
Wanting to restart her career, Sam convinces a private investigator named Eddie to let her shadow him as research for a potential comeback role.
While Eddie isn't too keen on his new babysitting gig at first, Sam is able to prove herself valuable by using the skills she learned while playing a cop.

This was the cutest show. I liked the chemistry between the two actors and the plot was always fun. What's wrong with ABC? The fans liked this show and they are cancelling it..... another stupid move by ABC

This was one of the best new shows... it had us hooked with the 1st episode!!! ABC why do you choose the way you do??? This was not decided by viewers. Maybe you should start asking us before you decide.

I agree with all of the above. The two stars and the supporting actors all had such chemistry. Why in the heck was it cancelled? ABC, please change your mind.

Really liked this show. Cute and quirky so definitely entertaining. Like others writing here, I ABSOLUTELY DESPISE REALITY TV and don't watch any. Hard to find entertaining & interesting shows now around the reality garbage! Lowest common denominator, baby!

I AGREE WITH KIM ABOVE ABC IS REALLY THE WORST NETWORK FOR CANCELLING THE BEST SHOWS. I GUESS WHAT EVERYBODY NEEDS TO DO IS JUST QUIT WATCHING ANYTHING ABC PUTS ON THE AIR AND SEE HOW THEY FEEL ABOUT BEING CANCELLED.

Unbelievable, ABC is the worst for cancelling shows very quickly. I loved this show, it was such a fresh new idea. Soon I’ll just stop getting invested in ABC shows altogether because they cancel so much.

The sources on the back of my local/area TV guide indicate season two might air in September or October 2019. Does anyone else have any other information besides this?

This show (like any other TV PI show) is a work of fiction. But you have to admit, it's fun to watch. A PI agrees to take in someone ordered by the court as part of her alcohol rehab and gives her a chance. The romantic encounter (and kiss) on the street? Uhhhhh, not advisable in real life. Only on TV.
