No Season 5 for the anthology series.
January 16, 2019
It is being reported that Syfy has cancelled Channel Zero after four seasons. The anthology series, in which each installment features a different tale taken from the popular 'creepypasta' Internet horror stories, was last renewed through Season 4 ahead of its sophomore run in 2017.
While the series earned critical praise for each of its seasons, viewership tapered off over the course of its run. The show's final episode aired on October 31, 2018.

Horribly stupid show. I turned it off the first time I saw the "mini marshmallow man".

Each season had at least one outstanding episode. Unfortunately, none of them could handle the long run of a full season. All had creative ideas but each should have been restricted to a 2 or 3 episode length to maintain a satisfying level of horror and wonder. My favorite was the last one but, as was usually the case, I was disappointed in the final episode.
What can you expect from a series called Channel Zero? Just try to get someone to find the show on their TV set. "Hey, you told me to watch Channel Zero. My TV starts with Channel One. Don't bother me with this anymore."

Seasons 1 & 4 were great. Season 2 and 3.... not so much.

I loved the show as well. I think the problem was in the scheduling. It was all over the place. It's clear that SyFy was transitioning this show to it's streaming platform. Viewers should have been made more aware. I'll miss it.

The first couple episode in each season were pretty good. Then I was forcing myself to watch it. Would have made an ok movie. Too long for a series.

Last season was really hard to get through. Too much personal angst. Luckily I taped them all at once and was able to fast forward a lot. It probably could have been a decent 2 or 3 mini-series. I think it was called "Dream Door." The acting was good, and Pretzel Jack actor was an amazing contortionist. Those were NOT special effects... it was Troy James. Still miss it. Luckily, we still have American Horror Story.

This is really bad news I don't know of any show like this on tv anywhere. First they cancel Superstition and now this one. Each season was different. Although the last one was the most lightweight it had a great leading lady, who carried it very well. The whole cast was good though. The cannibal one was pretty intense . In fact all the series were well done imo. rip.

Each season seemed to go downhill. Candle Cove was the best. Last season (I can't remember the name) did have some interesting quirks. I would like to have seen all of the stories.

What a shame. This was a very innovative, creative show unlike anything on network or basic cable. I will miss it.

What?? I liked this show. I admit the last season wasn't my favorite, but I enjoyed all the other creepypasta stories they did. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Syfy cancels everything. Not sure what they even have left.
