No Season 4 for the sci-fi drama.

It looks like Travelers has reached the end of the road. Show star Eric McCormack shared the news on social media today that Netflix has cancelled the sci-fi drama after three seasons.
"Hey my fellow travelers," said McCormack in a video addressed to his fans. "First of all let me say a huge thank you to your ravenous response to Season 3." He continued, "A lot of you have been asking about the possibility of a Season 4. But many of you have been saying, look if this is it, what a moving and surprising and profound ending it is. Well, I'm afraid it is. Who knows what the future holds, but Travelers Program 1, as we call it, is complete."
Travelers debuted in late 2016 as a co-production with Showcase in Canada, which aired the first two seasons for viewers up north. For Season 3, however, Travelers aired exclusively on Netflix worldwide.
Taking place hundreds of years in the future, the show follows the last surviving humans who work to prevent a terrible future from taking place by sending their consciousness back in time to the 21st century. Known as travelers, they assume the lives of random people as they undertake high-stakes missions in order to save humanity.

I am not ready to dump Netflix (As I have done SyFy - I never start watching anything on SyFy until there are a minimum of 3 seasons to work with) but it does seem to arbitrarily the fate of its shows (read the Ars Technica article which discusses this a bit). Given that Season 3 was not that old before it was canceled and the way the story was told I think they had decided this a while ago.
@ CanadianEagle - no every single question wasn't answered, that did leave room for season 4 to have been able to explore more, but, I wouldn't call it a cliffhanger. Season 3 wrapped up just fine. Answered left un-answered - sure. A lot of shows with more seasons leave things without all the answers or wondering what happened to the 'people' you have invested your time in watching.
But definitely for anyone wondering to watch or not watch - personally, yes a season 4+ would have been nice, because I enjoyed the show. But I was not left wondering, or guessing, or on banging my head going -... WHATTT!!!!!! lol..
The show ended with me wanting more, but did not end with me upset I wasted my time watching.
If you have watched part of the season and was holding off, to see if it was cancelled or not, it is still worth watching it all, you are already invested and the ending is satisfying enough to not drop it in the mist of your entertainment value.
if you haven't watched any, it is still worth watching, because it is a different concept for a TV show and even if you end up wishing there was more after season 3, you can end it with the 3 seasons feeling you were entertained and have an ending that makes sense and the only thing you have left to wonder can be filled in with your own imagination, just like you would with any other TV show that ends.
The show ended with a lot of unaswered questions. For starters, we did not learn about the true intentions of the Director. We did not know the story behind the director and how it started. We did not know the true intentions of the opposition, and whether they really have good causes. We needed to know more about Vincent Ingram.
This is not fair to the audiance to end the show with deeply depressing events with a lot of knots yet to tie.
The way season 3 ended was 'clean' and did serve nicely as an ending to the season. ( so as others said, definitely worth watching if you like the show)
That being said (somewhat spoiler alert so don't read if you don't like any of those)...
The ending was cool, and really left it so wide open to give us either the same people, different people. Stories with slight differences that could have been cool to try and figure out what changed the first time etc...
It is a shame, if they had a season 4 I think it could have been pretty good.
