The medical drama will return in 2019-2020.

NBC announced today that Chicago Med has been renewed for a fifth season. The spin-off joins franchise-mates Chicago Fire and Chicago PD in being picked up for the 2019-2020 television season.
On the air since 2015, Chicago Med focuses on the brave team of doctors and nurses that work at a hectic hospital in the Windy City. On a daily basis they tackle unique new cases while dealing with the drama of personal relationships.
While the series is the youngest in the franchise - after 2017's Chicago Justice was cancelled after just one season - it currently sits at 76 episodes and should hit the 100-episode milestone in Season 5, which will return this fall.

This is my favorite of the franchise!! I agree Nat is annoying and they need to keep them broken up. I am not happy with all of the relationship drama on the show. Not every co-worker at a hospital date each other.

I love Chicago Med, but Nat gets on my last nerve. I hate to say this, but I'm glad her and Halstead broke up! He needs someone that doesn't judge his every move. She is NOT always right.
