CBS announced today that The Good Fight has been picked up for a fourth season on its 'All Access' streaming service. The Good Wife spin-off, which has four episodes remaining in Season 3, has continued to garner critical acclaim for its engaging and thought-provoking storylines which often mirror current real-world events and societal issues.
The legal drama made its mark in 2017 as the first original series on CBS' subscription video-on-demand service. And while the network does not divulge the show's performance data, executives refer to it as a "flagship" in its growing lineup.
Created by The Good Wife's Robert and Michelle King, The Good Fight takes place following the events of the original series. While most main characters were not carried over, the story continues to follow Diane Lockhart, who has come out of retirement to join a preeminent Chicago law firm along with Lucca Quinn. Other supporting characters from The Good Wife also make occasional appearances.
Look for Season 4 of The Good Fight in early-to-mid 2020.

I mean, I guess calling for the assassination of a sitting president is engaging if the rest of your TV time is spent watching CNN.
