Paramount+ announced today that The Good Fight will be coming to an end after its upcoming sixth season. It has been nearly a year since the legal drama was picked up for Season 6, but there was no word until now that it would be its last.
The show debuted in 2017 as the first original series on CBS' "All Access" subscription video-on-demand service, now known as Paramount+. Now at 50 episodes, the veteran show ranks as the streamer's longest-running original series.
Created by The Good Wife's Robert and Michelle King, The Good Fight takes place following the events of the original series. While most main characters were not carried over, the story continues to follow Diane Lockhart, who has come out of retirement to join a preeminent Chicago law firm. Other supporting characters from The Good Wife also make occasional appearances.
Season 6 of The Good Fight will premiere on September 8.

Without all the woke references which are probably the Office Cheapo judge scenes) Good Fight already jumped the shark after the Swatting incident with Dianne and there wasn’t any other directions for plots to go

It was time to put it down after Covid! As with some other good shows, after Covid they went WOKE! Personally I tune in to watch shows to get away from all the PC crap, not to pay good money in order to watch certain programs that continue to beat one over the head with the WOKE baseball bat! Take it how you will, I am beyond the point of caring anymore!

It ended with Season 4. They just forgot to tell the actors to stop coming to work. Started so good and end(ed) so bad.

i think it kind of wore out its welcome. some later seasons got a bit weird for me.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this show since it first aired, up until the last season However, if the writing is going to be the same as it was last year, I would suggest cancelling it now.

I've enjoyed the show over the years but it's a good time to end it.
